What to Pack

All of your items should be clearly labeled with your name! Make sure that your luggage is labeled with both your name and your cabin name.

There is no need to go out and buy anything new for Outdoor Ed. We're going to get dirty and rained on, you don't want to ruin anything new!

DO NOT OVERPACK! You have to carry everything you bring!

The Essentials

The Essentials

Clothing:

  • 2 to 3 pairs of jeans or slacks/pants

  • shirts for three days (one heavy if possible)

  • 1 warm jacket or sweater/sweat shirt

  • 2 pairs of tennis shoes (at least 1pair will be wet)

  • 4 pairs of socks

  • underwear for three days

  • sleeping apparel

Personal Hygiene:

  • toothpaste/toothbrush

  • soap

  • bath towel

  • washcloth

  • comb or brush

  • deodorant

Outdoor:

  • sleeping bag or sheets and blanket / pillow

  • rain apparel/poncho (please be sure to have rain gear) Sweatshirts are not rain gear. Rain gear is water proof!!

  • flashlight/batteries

  • head covering (cap, hat, etc.)

  • plastic bag/ trash bag for dirty clothing

Optional:

  • small pillow and case

  • camera/film (student’s responsibility if brought)

  • sunscreen

  • canteen/water bottle

  • tennis racket, soccer ball, or lacrosse stick, etc.

  • Cell Phone - While we do not recommend it, students may bring cell phones to camp.  The school does not take responsibility for loss or property damage. As per school rules.

"Best advice I got was to dress for the weather. Keep checking it the week before!"

Do NOT Bring:

  • Sheath or pocket knife

  • matches/lighters

  • skateboard/skates (there is no area for use)

  • Money (nothing to buy)

  • gym/candy/foods/soda (IT ATTRACTS WILDLIFE!)

  • Fire arms

  • Any item considered inappropriate for school
